HB 1488 on rates and charges moves to the Governor

WACD is very pleased to report that on April 18th, the House concurred with Senate amendments to HB 1488, the bill that raises the cap on rates-and-charges for conservation districts.

At about 12:20 pm today, the House concurred with the amendments made by the Senate, with a vote of 53 in favor and 43 opposed (2 excused). This was a roughly party-line vote.

The President of the Senate signed the bill on April 19th and next, HB 1488 will go to the Governor.
