Palouse Conservation District Hosts Soil Health Breakfast Jan. 7 in Colfax

The Palouse Conservation District invites local farmers and community members to their Soil Health Breakfast on Wednesday, January 7, from 8:00 – 10:00 am at The Center in Colfax.

Featured speaker Kyle Schultheis of Diamond-S Farms in Colton will discuss strategies to strengthen farm resilience, like intercropping systems such as peas/oats, reducing synthetic inputs, and independently separating interseeded crops. Schultheis will share insights on how these practices are shaping profitability and soil health.
