USDA offers aid to flood-damaged Washington farms, ranches
Washington farmers and ranchers who suffered losses in flooding in December may be eligible for compensation or low-interest loans from the USDA. USDA officials encouraged producers to contact USDA service centers for assistance in applying. The USDA has service centers in 32 cities in Washington.
“USDA has a suite of programs to support farmers and ranchers as they recover from disasters,” Farm Production and Conservation Deputy Undersecretary Brooke Appleton said in a statement.
