Native Planting Project Launches to Restore Wetlands North of Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — A major wetlands restoration effort is underway north of Moses Lake, where the Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD) has begun a multi-phase native planting project across nearly 70 acres of ponds and wetland habitat.

The long-term project aims to improve wildlife habitat, strengthen ecological resilience, and restore the natural function of one of the area’s key wetland complexes.
