PULLMAN – Help us restore a wetland site at the Port of Whitman Industrial Park in Pullman on Wednesday, October 15th, 1-3 pm at the Pullman Industrial Park.

Join Palouse Conservation District and the Port of Whitman for a volunteer planting event. Help us restore a wetland site at the Port of Whitman Industrial Park in Pullman. This site contains a nature walking trail and is an important parcel of habitat upstream of Missouri Flat Creek. Volunteers will plant a variety of native trees and shrubs – including quaking aspen, ponderosa pine, and coyote willow – to improve water quality and wildlife habitat.
