Everett Joins Forces with Snohomish Conservation District to Boost Urban Tree Coverage by 2028

Everett’s urban landscape is set for a green transformation with a new initiative to get more trees into local neighborhoods. In partnership with the Snohomish Conservation District (SCD), the City of Everett, along with the City of Marysville and the Tulalip Tribes, is reaching out to residents and businesses under its Urban & Community Forests Program. It’s a push towards sustainability that’s aimed at lasting through December 2028, offering not just free trees but also education and engagement opportunities to the community.
