Palouse Conservation District Encourages Community to Explore Local Wildlife with Upcoming Spring Events

PULLMAN – The Palouse Conservation District is inviting residents to engage with the natural environment through two family-friendly events aimed at fostering interest in local biodiversity and conservation.

On Saturday, May 31, from 8 to 10 a.m., the “Bike & Bird” event will take place starting at the Chipman Trailhead in Pullman. Hosted in partnership with the Palouse Audubon Society and Pine Creek Conservation District, participants will take part in a leisurely bike ride along the trail, stopping to observe birds and evaluate avian use of habitat restoration areas along Paradise Creek.
