County commissioners approve Skagit Conservation District rates and charges
The Skagit County Board of Commissioners approved Monday a rates and charges schedule for the Skagit Conservation District that will last from 2025 to 2034.
Formed in 1942, it focuses on providing landowners with technical assistance regarding trees, soil and water.
The rates and charges funding go in part toward the district’s forestry program, assessor fee, reserve fund, grant application and outreach work, and possible replacements of its 25-year-old vehicles.
