Conservation District hosts tours

PALOUSE — The Palouse Conservation District has several upcoming field tours coming up.

The District will host a Soil Health and Cropping Systems tour from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, June 24. The Conservation District is teaming up with the University of Idaho Extension for the tour with local producers sharing insights from cover cropping, integration of livestock in small grains rotations and winter wheat variety trials.

A Cook Agronomy Farm in Pullman Precision Agriculture Demo Day will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, with a registration date by June 19. The Palouse Conservation District, Washington State University, and USDA-ARS will be hosting the event at the Cook Agronomy Farm located five miles northeast of Pullman.
