Stevens County Conservation District Forestry and Livestock Event 2024
The Stevens County Conservation District (SCCD) and WSU Extension are holding the Forestry and Livestock Event at the Deer Park Fire Station Community Center (315 E Crawford St., Deer Park, WA) on February 10th from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
This year’s event will focus on livestock feed and nutrition, home Hazard Ignition Zone planning, grazing for weed control and fire mitigation, post-logging/post-fire weed control, burning regulations, and family forest issues and opportunities. Event presenters include speakers from the Department of Natural Resources, Wild Goat Forestry and Consulting, Anderson Consulting, and WSU Extension.
