The Snohomish Conservation District has an opening for a full-time Environmental Educator position. The person in this position must have a passion for SCD’s mission and for providing to the public high-quality, hands-on environmental science education. This role includes coordinating, scheduling, and teaching Wheat Week lessons to 4th and 5th grade in schools in Snohomish, WA while also assisting SCD’s Education and Outreach Team in conservation education activities within the community. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, environmental education, environmental science, natural resources, or three years of relevant experience and at least one year of experience teaching children in an indoor or outdoor setting along with demonstrated experience managing students with hands-on STEM curriculum.
