Palouse Conservation District Hosts Virtual Talk on Nature-Based Fire Mitigation

The Palouse Conservation District will present a talk on “Nature-Based Fire Mitigation Strategies for the Palouse” on Thursday, January 8, at 6:00 pm via Zoom.

Gavin Doree from Rainier Seeds will explore how natural systems can play a critical role in fire prevention, mitigation, and defensive planning. The presentation will highlight how native grasses and seed blends can be strategically incorporated to strengthen fire resilience.
