Director Position Open on the WADE Board

Due to an unexpected vacancy, the Washington Association of District Employees (WADE) is looking to fill the Director 3 position.

WADE Directors are voting members of the WADE Board who serve three-year terms. Responsibilities include participating in monthly WADE Board and committee meetings, leading committee meetings and special projects, supporting the Employee of the Year Awards process, and sharing in the planning of the Annual WADE Conference. WADE does not provide funding for participation on the Board. Interested candidates must be district employees and have approval from their District Manager/Executive Director to participate.

In particular, the WADE Board is looking for someone who has experience in partnership building and funding development to help lead a new WADE committee that will work on strengthening partnerships and bringing in new funding opportunities for the annual conference and other employee training opportunities.
