Skagit CD Program Assistant
Position Description
The Program Assistant provides clerical support to the Skagit Conservation District (District) Board of Supervisors and staff. This position works closely with the District Manager, and Bookkeeper. It requires excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and interests. This position requires a detail oriented individual with demonstrated proficiency in computer software, Microsoft Office products, data management, and hybrid meeting equipment and software management.
DUTIES
- Communication: forward important information from the District Manager and other organizations to the Board and staff, draft general correspondence; send out public notices about public meetings.
- Board meetings: draft agenda; collect, collate, copy, and send out board meeting documents; prepare for meeting; take minutes.
- Records management: manage records for payroll, accounting, grants, board meetings, admin files, etc.; archive old files.
- Contract management.
- Assist with accounting reconciliation.
- Maintain inventory list.
- Maintain program and organizational records and data in hardcopy and digital file structure.
- Track and purchase office supplies.
- Type and format forms, memoranda, correspondence, and reports.
- Data entry to support District programs.
- Support the Bookkeeper in financial administrative tasks.
- Assist the District Manager as needed.
- Other administrative and project support tasks as necessary
Compensation
HOURS
20-24 hours per week
SALARY
$23-$26/hour
Depending on Experience
