Conservation district hosting annual plant sale
PORT ANGELES — The Clallam Conservation District is taking orders for its annual native plant sale.
The district hosts the sale to provide affordable native plants for wildlife habitat enhancement and environmentally friendly landscaping.
Plants are sold in bundles of five, 10 and 25 depending on species, with prices ranging from $24 to $39 per bundle. Most of the plants are 1- to 2-year-old bare-root seedlings ranging from 8 inches to 24 inches; however, some specialty species are available as plugs, young plants in small seedling pots.
