Environmental Educator
Snohomish Conservation District (SCD) has an opening for a full-time Environmental Educator position. The person in this position must have a passion for SCD’s mission and for providing high-quality, hands-on environmental science education to the public. This role will be responsible primarily for coordinating, scheduling, and teaching Wheat Week lessons to 4th and 5th grade classes throughout Snohomish County and Camano Island This role will also assist SCD’s Education and Outreach Team in conservation education activities within the community.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, environmental education, environmental science, natural resources, OR three years of relevant experience and one year of experience teaching youth in an indoor or outdoor setting. This role also requires demonstrated experience managing students with hands-on STEM curriculum.
