NRCS Washington to host Regional Conservation Partnership Program informational webinars

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (Sept. 23, 2021) – The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Washington (NRCS-WA) is hosting four informational webinars in October on the newly established 2018 Farm Bill Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).

The Regional Conservation Partnership Program promotes coordination of NRCS conservation activities with partners who offer value-added contributions to expand our collective ability to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns. Through RCPP, NRCS seeks to co-invest both financial and technical assistance to implement partner-led projects that demonstrate innovative solutions to conservation challenges and provide measurable improvements and outcomes tied to the resource concerns they seek to address.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Washington will offer four informational webinars to discuss the nuances of RCPP under the 2018 Farm Bill. People are encouraged to attend the series in preparation for the Fiscal Year 2022 RCPP funding announcement, which is expected to release in Fall 2021.
