HB 1380 – Restoring the business and occupation and public utility tax exemption for custom farming and hauling farm products.
Would restore a previous tax exemption for custom farming operations and hauling farm products.
HB 1382 – Streamlining the environmental permitting process for salmon recovery projects.
Would create a “habitat recovery pilot program” with certain agencies represented on permits for fish recovery and riparian habitat restoration projects.
HB 1385 – Limiting transfers of water rights out of their original water resource inventory area.
Would create water banks in seven northeast Washington WRIAs and allow these water banks to price-match out of basin water right sales.
HB 1395 – Ensuring equity in farming.
Would require state natural resource agencies to consult with the Office of Equity on opportunities for “historically underrepresented farmers and ranchers”.
