Snohomish CD Engineer or Engineer-in-Training Position
Position Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide natural resource engineering services to landowners, District staff, and partner organizations. The primary geographic region for this position will be Snohomish County and Camano Island, however, some work will also be completed in Clallam, King, Pierce, Kittitas, Chelan, Okanogan, and Douglas counties. This position will report to the Engineering Program Manager and will work in tandem with the Senior Professional Engineer.
The individual in this position will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Green stormwater infrastructure design, such as rain gardens and bioswales
- Agricultural best management practice design, in accordance with NRCS design standards
- Fish passage barrier removal
- In-stream and floodplain habitat restoration
Compensation
Terms: Regular, full-time, overtime exempt position (40hrs/week), with benefits.
Salary: $78,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
