It’s Time for the 2024 WACD Annual Conference & Business Meeting
The Washington Association of Conservation Districts celebrates 82 years of service to the Washington State conservation district community at the 2024 WACD Annual Conference & Business Meeting. This year’s conference theme is “Common Sense Conservation.”
Conference information will be available online and in the conference packet registrants will receive when they check-in. The on-site registration desk can be found Monday morning, December 2, outside the Pend Oreille Pavilion at the Northern Quest Casino and Resort.
The conference schedule begins Monday morning, December 2, with optional sessions. Please review the conference schedule and choose from these options:
- Participate in a Workshop for New Supervisors and Managers
- Attend the WACD Board of Directors meeting
- Tour The Quarry and the impressive Spokane Conservation District campus.
Conference attendees will convene for lunch at noon to hear keynote speaker Diane Murray. Diane is a certified dare to lead™ facilitator.
For those planning to fly into the Spokane International Airport, please be aware of the free shuttle offered by the Northern Quest Casino and Resort. More information and the shuttle’s phone number can be found on their website at https://www.northernquest.com/inquiries/shuttle. For those driving, parking is free in one of the many lots and the parking garage.
